Well on the power side of things any engine is basically an air pump so the more air flow through it you can get the better. That is why porting on both the intake and exhaust side is so popular along with free flowing exhaust systems. Higher compression increases combustion efficiencies which is also a great way to up the power. I believe that your ZX10 already has pretty high compression ratio (around 12:1?) so that will not be necessary in your case. Higher lift camshafts with longer duration will also allow for improved air flow through the engine.
Your ZX also has a pretty nice suspension but there is always room for improvement. I am not too versed on that part of it, maybe someone else will chime in!
