I'll be home for Christmas - it was my late mothers favorite & always reminds me of her whenever I hear it.
My personal favorite is O Holy NIght - I think it is one of the most beautiful songs I ever heard.

Silent Night is my favorite but it seems like when most people cover it, they butcher it.
My favorite pop artist done Christmas songs are:
The Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth - David Bowie/Bing Crosby (Beautifully done duet)
Gabriel's Message - Sting (the song just has some eeriness to it that doesn't seem to take away from the Christmas feel
Wonderful Christmas Time - Paul McCarty (The opening just makes me feel Christmassy

I like "River" sung by Robert Downey Jr. from the Allie McBeal album. He's such a tortured soul and Christmas is a mixture of happy and sad, reverence and farce.
also...
Down in Yon Forest by Joan Baez
I Saw Three Ships - Sting - Very Special Christmas 3
Celebrate Me Home - Kenny Loggins

My favorite Christmas song is "Silent Night". I just love the melody and the words. When I am in an upbeat mood I can get into Jingle Bell Rock.

I like most of the songs but especially those which focus on the true reason for Christmas; the birth of Jesus. "Frosty the Snowman," "Deck the Halls" and other such drivel make one forget the reason for the Holiday; sure, they're more "inclusive", but that's not the point of Christmas. Christmas is for those who believe in Jesus to celebrate His birth.

Carol of the Bells is my favourite traditional carol, it's so beautiful, I get chills every time I hear it... perversely.. I like the 12 days of Christmas spoofs, like Bob and Doug Mackenzie and the Muppets' version...
