What happened to Dir en grey!?

I used to love Deg but after adopting a more western Nu-metal style, Kyo's vocals seem to be dragging and Kaoru's getting uglier with every passing day. And recently, they put out a single called Agitated Screams of Maggots. I mean, c'mon! What happened to them?

I suppose they changed with popularity. Alot of bands do that. Following trends.
I love the song Yurameki and their old style was cool. I love Visual Kei.

DIR EN GREY IS A GREAT BAND BECAUSE THEY'RE "DIFFERENT". AND THEY'RE JAPANESE, WHICH REALLY MAKES THEM A CRITICS FAVORITE (SINCE THERE AREN'T TOO MANY BANDS THAT COME FROM THERE).
