It is the little "search" box for web searches that forever retains everything that i have ever searched for and will not delete them. How do I delete them "permanently"?

I assume your using Internet Explorer 6...

Open "Internet Explorer"
Goto "Tools" > "Internet Options"
A window will appear and near the bottom you want to click on "History", click the botton that says "Clear History" and if you dont want it to remember the histroy, just change the number to "0"...

If this isnt the right version, please re-post with the correct browser so we know what steps to list.

Go to start menu..then control panel, network and internet connections then internet options. Then you go to clear history! It also asks you how often you want your history cleared...maybe you want it cleared every day or every two days ect...
