Employees, from your employer, would you rather have

1. A bonus (and working normal business hours/days)
2. Paid time off (not counting against your vacation time) during the holiday season?

Which one?

Tough call. The extra cash during the holidays is always nice, but I think I would rather have the paid time off.

Personally, I think I would rather have a bonus. Paid time off definitely sounds nice, but doesn't make me any more money than I would normally make If I were working. A bonus however does not buy me any more time, but it certainly buys me more!
Which I think is more important during the holiday season when people are already stretched pretty thin

Hope that helps

I would much rather have the bonus as I already get paid time off.

Keep in mind that some of your employees may be expecting a bonus and nothing helps employee moral like receiving a bit extra from management.

id go for the bonus if i had to choose, as i get 2 weeks off over christmas...but i have always maintained that rather than a bonus id like a night out... as it means alot more when getting to know your employees/ co workers and i'll remember it more than £50 that i cant remember what i spent it on!

Paid time off would be the best bonus for me!

depends on how much you are already paying them. In my case, because I am not making as much as I would like to be, I would rather have a bonus. If I were making what I need, I would prefer some much needed time off.
