Nobody should undress in front of their parents unless they are too little to do it without help. You SHOULD be embarrassed! You have the right to privacy; shut the door!

Unless you are 6 years old, it should not be a problem. There is nothing wrong with being modest about undressing in front of your parents and they should respect the fact that you are getting older. I don't know of any reasons that you should be undressing in front of them any way, if you are a girl and you have sore or something that needs to be looked at it should be by your mother any way. Hope this helps but without more information it is difficult to respond beyond this point.

Well to a certain point you can live by the rule with mom's only "well there ain't nothing she's not seen before". But after a certain age, normally around puberty, you feel as awkward having someone else see your body as you feel about it yourself. I would say that if you feel uncomfortable undressing in front of your mom at any age (unless you are so small you can't do it yourself) then you should politely say after you pick out what you are trying on "ok be right back". Don't make it a big issue unless she tries to stop you and make you undress there. If she does do the normal teenage thing and whine about it just enough to get out of it. If it's your dad then I would be concerned...dad's don't or at least shouldn't be pushing daughters or son's to undress in front of them at any age, unless of course it's an only parent situation and the child is to small to dress him/herself properly.

You don't say how old you are, but unless you are five years old, you shouldn't have to undress in front of your parents. Everyone is intitled to their privacy, even if you share a room with a sister, you should be allowed to undress in the privacy of the bathroom with the door closed. Even married couples are entitled to some privacy, you don't have to share everything.

Your parents should respect your privacy and let you undress alone. Ask them nicely to give you privacy or go into the restroom to undress. A locked door should send the message.

Depending on how old you are, there are no reasons why you should be undressing in front of your parents. If they insist, just tell them you are older and need some privacy.
