I keep a lot from my mother. My husband and I recently went on a trip and I didn't tell her. Only because I know she would think it was wrong because my son is in school and he had to stay at his grandmother's (but they did take him to school and make sure he did his homework).
I also lied a lot when planning the wedding details. My mother would want something a certain way, and if I wanted it another way or didn't want to argue with her, I would just go and order something else, and lie right in her face and tell her I did it her way. My husband fired a photographer and I didn't tell her. We had another photographer that day and she was really p*i*s*s*e*d! But that is because she is very bossy, controlling and nasty when she doesn't get her way. I don't know how to deal with her, I guess that's why I lie to her so much.

I was pregnant, and suffering from really bad wind-the silent but deadly variety. Our assistant manager at the time was known for his God awful farts. He walked into the stock room where I was a few times during the 'clear moments'. Unfortunately,I let out a killer-and the manager walked in to the stock room just after. He choked, gagged, and asked if the assisitant manager had been back there-I replied yes-and he went off and gave him a b*llocking saying how I was pregnant, and he could end up making me feel very ill. So I didn't actually lie-I just didn't set the record straight!
P.S. I told the truth the day I left for Maternity leave!

After being made redundant by a letter left on my desk, I went to the fishing tackle shop and bought 2 pints of casters (maggots on their way to becoming flies) and hid them throughout my bosses office! He found some and phoned to ask if knew anything about it. I swore I did not and how could he think I had done such a thing!!!!!!! A few weeks later i heard that he had to get in the fumigators and I STILL denied it! I met him 2 years later and told him the truth...he was not amused!!! When I see him now I smile and go Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!

No I'm not sleeping with your wife - said to the husband. A little white lie now and then is better than the cold, naked truth

That my boyfriend was 10 years younger than he really was. Had to own up when we had a child together. It took 5 years to admit thought.

Sassy, lying is exhausting. You end up not knowing who to trust - even yourself. I lied to everyone about a certain violent event that had happened to me. I said it never happened. Lying creates a lot of confusion for yourself and others. Most importantly, it damages relationships. I'd avoid it.
