I was wondering what are some good ideas for presents for a 21 year old mechanic. Any guys that are the same age..or any guys at all...let me know what kind of things a guy like this would like! Thanks!

This present is for my ex-boyfriend and I have gotten him quite a few electronics over the past couple years. We are still really good friends, so I would like to get him something pretty nice. Since he works as a mechanic, he already has all the tools that he needs and such. Thanks!

My husband is 23 and is a mechanic. Last year I got him a gas powered remote controlled car and he loved it. It cost me 400 so if he is an ex, maybe this is too much. Otherwise he likes gloves from Mechanix. He always likes to have a pair around!

Well I am not a guy, but I grew up in a garage most of my life.
I don't know what your spending limit is, but what about an air tank? I know you can pump tires with it, use it to hook nail guns to, and also other tools. Otherwise like wrnches, and tool sets. Every guy I have ever known looses have of these things, and can always use more. Lol, I would even maybe call a car machanic place, and evern ask them what would be a good idea. They would know for sure, plus they would probally get a kick out of the phone call.
Also they have slider boards that you can lay on and go underneath a car on, has wheels on the bottom, then they aren't actually just laying on the floor of the grage.
Lastly a nice jump suit like a carpter one that alot of the machanics where so all of them is covered up, and then it doesn't ruin anything underneath, plus keeps them warm. And of course a heater for the garage, they run a little over $100 though, so that might be pricey, but it'll keep him warm!
