why are companies doing it? The clothing made here can be on store shelves in 2-4 weeks. It can take months from China. Data entry jobs can lead to Americans information being stolen i.e. more problems. Foreign companies are opening plants here and booming. Why are American companies so stupid? Is it just poor management?

I couldn't agree with you more.... I'm in purchasing for a living and the push is outsource outsource outsource.....It costs money because the administrative oversight of the process and the work ends up being costs that can't be accounted for in terms of manhours. Regardless, as you say, it creates other problems for us as well in terms of national security and other issues....I don't know when America will learn that it is selling itself out!!!!

It does not matter if you can send your items in 4 weeks if each one took 10 employees to make it at $5.15 USD PER HOUR.

If that item takes 10 hours to make then the labor cost is $515.00 USD in the United States of America and $51.50 USD in Mexico.

Who cares about information from Americans?
Nike is selling shoes
Ford is selling cars
Dell is making computers.

They don't care if your information is stolen. (In the United States of America or elsewhere)

Foreign Companies ARE NOT OPENING PLANTS IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

Most companies (Domestic and Foreign) ARE CLOSING THEIR PLANTS IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

American Companies are not stupid. In fact, they are the smartest on the Planet.

It's not wise to pay $5.15 USD PER HOUR when you can hire 2 Chinese or Indians for the same amount FOR A DAY.

I don't get it either. It is like we are selling our country! We are in a world of hurt now (look at the auto industry) and it is only going to get worse!
