Lebanon is heading to yet another war, ans this time it is another civil war. Are u proud lebanese people for accomplishing NOTHING! Most of the world advances into civilisation and your country, still a third world country, keeps taking few steps back into the stone age. If you are a lebanese, you gotta be proud of ur accomplishments or Lack of it. :-) mho.

Either way, what has lebanon ever done to you, i agree with only one thing , lebanon is definiteley going for another war, all because of all those ****** politicians and stupid people who follow them and beleive every single word they say.

Lebanon is a really nice place (when it's at peace) and if you had visited there you wouldn't have been making statements like that.

As a lot of people said, Lebanon is influenced by a lot of other countries that wanna solve their differences in Lebanon instead of dealing with their **** in their own countries, so Lebanon is caught in the middle between Syria, Israel, the palestinians and Iran and everybody's trying to pull the country to their side.
Leave us alone and watch us grow. We are used to falling down and getting up again on our feet, that's how Lebanese people are, SURVIVORS.

You are right about something, and very wrong about another ones.
First at all i want to tell you that i'm half lebanese, but i feel as much lebanese as the ones bornt in Lebanon. I have lived there too, and i'm planning to go there soon again.

About the war......I wish you be wrong , and lebanese pple join each other under the same glorious flag without going to another civil war.

I cant accept what you said about the advances into civilization. It shows that you dont know anything about Lebanon and its history. When our countries still didnt exist, Lebanon had a strong culture and civilization. It is easy to talk when we are living in democratic countries, being comfortable .Lebanon is a 3rd world country, that's true, as hundreds of other countries, but was working to go up, when israelian forces destroyed the country.
Do you know how many tourist were Lebanon waiting in july? 1.600.000
And..do you know how much money that represented for the
lebanese pple? ONLY U$ 3.000 millions !!!!!!!!!
May be some of the things you do everydays without realize, came from anciant phoenicians. I'm talking about to write.

it is Hezbollah. They are civilian with guns. That is unacceptable.!! Do you know why no one can take their arms off now?
Because they have the support from Syria and in spite of they say that have gone from Lebanon, the secret service still works there and some bad corrupt lebaneses are in their nomines.
Are some politics .....corrupt ones, that has 2 faces like cheese.
Lahoud is pro syrian, and is the president...........one of the chiefs of a christian party, a retired general, has made a pact with hezbollah. His name is Michael Aoun....I can go on talking about many other lebanese politics, but to show what i mean, this is enough.

To talk about Lebanon, one has to know about it and its social integration.
Is not easy to be christian in a country where the stronger force is muslim. Even, one thing is hurting and dividing Lebanon so much, and it is the intolerance, the discrimination between christians and muslims.
They live in the same country, but have their own places.
Lebanon and all the lebaneses are great, the only they need are honest leaders that dont think in their pockets but in all the citizens.
They dont need Syria inside their territory. They dont need Hezbollah milicies. They dont need Israel bombing innocent pple.
They only want a country ruled by lebaneses for all the lebaneses..

I wish they can get it !!!!!!!!!

i am lebanese and i seriously disagree with u about accomplishing nothing: have u ever heard of michael dabaghi: he did the first transplant in the world, fairuz: a sensational singer. if u haven't then sorry u are uneducated!!!!!!!!
and for the war it's all because of those freakin countries wwho keep on butting into our country!!!!!!!
i really hope that history won't repeat itself because the previous war was really bad even though it lasted a month.
there are some innocent civilians like me who aren't part of a party like aoun or hezbollah. so we don't deserve going through hell! by the way we are not living in a third world country because technology here is very advanced, and moreover we have one of the top schools and universities here.
for ur info: we study french english arabic and allllllllll the other subjects, and one of my friends immigrated to america because of the war and she is the first in class cuz the subjects there are a piece of pie compared to the ones here!!!!!!!
i assure u we are united and will do anything to avoid another war. so don't go cursing my country if u don't know anything about it!!!....

I agree with you, too many problems and they keep blaming it on outer influence and not them internaly. And characters like Pinky that posted that siniora is going down to hell, just shows you how incompetent Hezbolla followers are, and their types are bringing the country down, not to forget that they messed up the summer for the lebanese people and it took them almost 20 years to kick the israeli out, but do you honestly beleive because of them that the israelis left? israel got fed up, and to claim victory after 20 years ion your land is Lame. Israel should have finished the job last summer by demolishing Hezbolla, but because Hezbollat uses their own fellow brothers and sisters as human shields, too many innocent deaths, the pressure was on israel to stop.
