My son is going to be a jack in the box for the schools christmas play on Friday. I am going to be making the costume and I can't sew. Im looking for pics of kids jack in the box costumes so I can get an idea of how to modify it to a no sew version. Any pics and instructions would be appreciated.

Well I have no pics but can give you instructions
1. Take a box that will fit the belly of your child giving about 6 inches on all sides for extras
2. cut off the flaps of the box
3. cut two strips of cardboard for straps to hold the box up (they will sit on the shoulders of child
4 decorate box with felt using glue gun to adhere
5.glue (with glue gun) straps to the top of the box fitting them to desired length(like sandwich board style
6. For handle buy a thick dowel (from most hardware stores) and cut and glue with glue gun to make a handle cove with yelllow felt so that it makes a nice covered handle
7. dress child your costume is comlplete apply makeup and a wig to make him or her the jack in the box

i think of it may well be particularly humorous to gown up your husband as a huge toddler. Diaper, bottle, outsized toys (such as you!). Or be somewhat older and positioned on those previous shaped pajamas with ft and carry a teddy undergo. no longer many previous shaped toys spring to strategies -- tops, jacks etc, which may well be annoying to make right into a dress. besides the fact that, a kite would desire to be exciting to do, or, in case you have been particularly stable at costumes, you would be able to desire to be an etch-a-comedian strip or some thing comparable that folk would desire to draw on. one extra concept -- he would be a monkey, to tutor your take care of. :)

Wouldn't it be quicker to do a google search? I mean really... think about it... how many people are going to read your question, dig deep into their files, and post a photo of a jack in the box costume?

A simple Google "Image" search will answer this question for you.
