I would definately suggest going to the Second City website and checking out their message boards. Just a few weeks ago there was a hot topic post on there about improv troupe names. I would also suggest getting the troupe together (or potential troupe!) and having a brain storming session. If you're creative enough to do improv, I'm sure you'll have a blast trying to create a name together, which can also help promote troupe unity!!!

(Go to www.secondcity.com, then click on "Training Center Forum", create an account and you've got access to TONS of message boards! The post for improv troupe names is under the folder "Improv Theory" up at the top.)

Best Wishes!

How about the " In your face improve troupe?" Names like that do tend to get a lot of attention. It defines the fearlessness you display on stage and how bold you can be. Just a thought.

Improvidence -sounds like a bad sitcom.
On The Spot -makes me think of a plumbing company or port-a-potty.
Wing It -Winger, Hot Wings, Wings of love, W last in phone directory, not so good.
Here and Now -old sappy 80's love song.

I'd avoid anything with OMG in it. Its likely to confuse anyone who's not Internet aware. "The Ninth Rule of Fight Club" is probably the best name here. I also quite like "The Long and Short of It" and "Identity Theives".
