I had a bad transaction on ebay and this jerk owes me almost $300. It was something that I bought and it was not as described, so I sent it back and he promised a refund. Months later and I am still waiting. The problem is that it is too far along for ebay/Paypal to do anything about it. All emails to this jerk are unreturned. What can I do? Anything???

Well, you could get an attorney involved, but I am sure it would be way more than $300. Probably all you can do is chalk it up to experience and do not shop ebay anymore. Stick with safer sites where refund policies are enforced like amazon.com or use a credit card that you can dispute the charge on and get the money back that way.

Ebay are notoriously bad for not doing very much to protect buyers. Their income comes from sellers.

I have had two bad episodes.
You may be able to get his address from Ebay (I did on 2 occasions)and then send the hit squad over there.

ON ebay there is also a community chat line where you can air problems and some of the experienced ebayers can offer words of wisdom.

Good luck!!!!!

If it isone month Old....!It is too late,. Anyway you contact Paypal and ask them to reverse the transaction. You have to give the proof of despatch. I can give you a link that deals with Payapl & Ebay transactions through Paypal. PayPal is one of the most popular online money transfer systems widely used for online auctions, pay to surf programs, e-books and purchase of low value goods. It is now a part of the online auction website eBay. More details available at
