Less is always best. The idea is to not look like you have it on ..yet the difference is still beautiful. The first time I wore make up to school, in 10th grade at the time, a senior..way way popular guy.. looks at me and says 'I don't know what you did but keep doing it!' I had pale eyelashes and blue eyes. I used a black mascara..several coats..applied b4 each dries completely. also, curl the lashes. The new heated lash curlers wont pull out your own lashes either. and use a little blush..and for goodness sake...blend it in really really well. If you get too much on, just apply some powder over it and blend some more. You don't want a line where it stops or 'clown cheeks' either. I actually use my lip color for my blush.. but this takes a little practice . Add a soft lip color or even a gloss and I bet you'll knock old Tabb on his?her butt. And you wont offend the pastor either. You can find some pretty good products at the $ stores now. Or try the Wet n Wild brand at most k-marts and the like. Don't spend a lot on it.. Match your face powder to the inside of your wrist for color. I wouldn"t think that you would need a liquid face make-up. They can do more harm than good. All said and done.. You want to feel pretty and look natural..not like it is Halloween and you are a $2 hooker!!

wear some mascara and pick a gold shadow to brush on your lids. gold is hot this season and flatters every skintone. and if you do decide to put on some eyeliner practice a few times to get the hang of it or you can look like a mess. remember that when putting on eyeline tho, pull the corner of your eye a little so you can get the the entire ledge thingy of the eye (the part you are lining.) and go for a dark brown liner to complement the gold shadow. the best thing about gold shadow though is if it does get a little smudgy it looks kindda cool. then swipe some pretty pink gloss (gold undertones to complement the shadow) on your lips and you're looking pretty. the biggest mistake you can make is to do your whole entire face up all at once. you want to look pretty, not like a hooker. so pick one thing to play up ( your eyes) and stick to that. don't do eyes lipstick and blush all at once. especially at church. you are there to larn about the bible, not be the next miss america hooker style. be subtle!

Wear a little bit of mascara that was the first thing I ever wore, it's easy you don't really have to find a color that looks good on you they all pretty much work, It's pretty easy to put on too. Then you can say you wore some and she will be able to tell but you won't look real made up.

i wouldnt use eyeliner, its too harsh for your first time i think, and church maybe... why don't you try a light pink eyeshadow just on the lid, a really soft peach blush on the apples of your cheeks and a little clear lip gloss? its not much, but its makeup and effective! or if you have a darker skin, skip the blush and go with a light earth tone eyeshadow. good luck!

Why don't you just wear mascara on your eyelashes. It's less obvious than eyeliner. Also, why not wear just some lip gloss, this will qualify as make-up and you won't even be able to tell, your lips will look like they are wet. If you are not used to make-up I would not go overboard.

Wear a tinted moisturizer and some lip gloss and mascara this should give you a natural look. dont go over board with colors as it is church.

Good plan! You could also wear mascara. It's not as noticeable but it's still there. Makeup is makeup. She didn't say what you had to wear!

Look if you don't really wear make-up and you're going to church, then just wear a little. Wear something appropriate for chruch like a little bronzer, masacra, maybe a neutral colored eyeshadow and a little lipgloss that matches your skintone. Don't wear something to drastic, especially to chruch just to prove a point to somebody.

don't bother with eyeliner if this is your one and only time wearing makeup. i suggest just smudging some eyeshadow (browns, blacks, or greys are good) on your eyelid with your finger. be sure that the shadow doesn't go all the way up to your brow. have it to the crease of you eye. you could also wear some lipgloss/lipstick. keep it simple so you don't get confused or mess up.
