I think Echo is an original name for a horse....esp. a daughter or second generation mare that has the temperment of her mother. Just a thought.

When I was younger the best names seemed to be Neddy, Champion, Trigger, Silver, Lightning & Storm.... though I also thought Thowra from the Silver Brumby books by Elyne Mitchell was a pretty cool name too ... even though I had no idea how to pronounce it.

Mirage, Sweet N Sassy, Midnight Magic, Ace of Hearts (Red), Silent Storm.
