Completely disagree...there's as much, if not more in the holiday season for adults...enjoying the lovely decorations, eating the yummy one-a-year treats, shopping for those special gifts for people we care about, spending time with family and friends, recieving our own special gifts, playing Santa (for those with kids), holiday parties and socializing, and I'm sure the list could go on.

Those that believe the holiday season is only for children, believe that because they choose to make it so.

Christmas is for everyone so I will disagree with the statement "Christmas is for children; there's nothing in it for adults."

It is the season for giving and spreading joy. It is all about bringing a little joy into the lives of others especially those who are in need - The elderly, the hungry, homeless, the downtrodden. You do not have to be finalcially well-off to be able to put a smile on someone's face. Sometimes even the most insignificant gesture on your part can mean the world to someone who has nothing.

I think it depends on what adults make of it. MAny adults now overextend themselves physically and financially during the holidays so they just end up feeling stressed and down. I think that if they would take the time to enjoy Christmas, the festivities, family, and take some time to reflect on Christmas there wouldn't be as many adults feeling burnt out. There's no need to buy gifts for everybody you know or get stressed out looking for a tickle me Elmo.

Here's a good read that may warm your heart if you are feeling stressed:

Disagree, I enjoy it more as an adult. I think it's because I can choose how I celebrate it, I have memories, and I am less fixated on the whole Santa Claus "wish-list" part of it and more on the tradition and religious aspects. Plus, now that I live in a cold climate, it really does help take the mind off winter...

I disagree with that statement, although I'm not grown yet, I do believe that I speak for everyone when I say that everyone needs to be loved. So therefore, I believe that Christmas is for everybody, but let's not forget that Christmas isnt all about the presents, its about Jesus Christ's Birthday.

I couldn't disagree more. I love Christmas more and more every year. I love the decorations, songs, movies, cooking, baking and all the food and I love getting together with my family and friends to celebrate.
