Quality is the most important because if u have one really good friend u wouldn't need anyone else in the world, and the quality of that person could help the good qualities of urself shine through and u could become a "quality friend" to someone else....and possibly build a quantity of friends with quality....ya dig

Quality wins out hands down. Friends are those who stick around through thick and thin. Those that are there even when you have no money. They will listen and give support. What is quantity anyway? It is like having too much junk in your home; and it is time to clean out the junk. In other words get rid of the baggage and keep the jewels of real friendship.

interesting question, of course I prefer quality, however it's a good idea to know a lot of people. As the saying goes, it's not what you know, it's who you know. It's best to strive for balance. Have few close friends, and lots of other friends. You never know what might develop later. Have fun.

Most definetely QUALITY...
Isn't it better to have a small crew of friends whom you can form close friendships with over the years...
Rather than to have a zillion friends and not get to really know any of them?

Well it depends how good a friend this person is. With my best friends I rather have quality, even if we cant see each other often when we do see each other we want it to be memorable.

I'd say quality. The only ones that count are the ones that last.
