We are splitting our customer database in half, and A-M, N-Z doesn't seem to be 50/50. Where would the middle be?

it wont be 50/50 unless all ur customers are exaclty split with the starting letters of their last name. Some letters are more frequent in last name causing one side to have more name even though u did split at exactly 50/50

If you want half of the entries to be in each database, it seems like it would be best to run a report of how many names are in each letter, and add them up from either end until you get closest to dividing it evenly.

the middle is between m and n now you figure out how to split the space between them and you will have id divided equally
