Males young or old have several erections every night as they sleep it is normal. Some time it wakes you up and you have to go to the washroom.
I do remember as a teen about 13 or 14 that it would pop up at the most inopportune time and embarrass the heck out of me. Now at my age I wish it would once in awhile...I would enjoy the embarrassment...it is perfectly normal however so don't be concerned it happens to us all at a young age. Darn I would like to be young again!

I think they do have them frequently in their sleep. Also, when they wake up they have that "morning wood". Just thinking about sex can turn a man on and give him an erection so it's completely normal. It happens to women too. We get sexually aroused and "wet" when we're not in a "sexual situation or moment" but just thinking about sexual things that turn us on.

I wake up everymorning with a woody. I've been told that's called a Piss hard on. I wasn't dreaming or thinking of sex. It just happens I guess. Anyway, I think it's normal. Could be embarassing in unexpected situations though. Trust me, I know.

Yes it is very normal for a male to have "random" erections. It is normal however sometimes awkward.

It's normal... men average about 6 erections at night when they're sleeping... just wear baggy clothes or hide your area until it subsides.

Yes it is. I used to hate it when I would in school and the bell was about to ring and I would have to get up with a bulge in the front. I spent so much time worrying about this that I didn't pay much attention to the teachers.

Yes! And very embarrassing when it used to happen in church, with all of that kneeling and then standing and then sitting--when you're 13 years old!
