Hell no I wouldn't believe it! Call someone in his office to see what time he left work and then confront that bastard.

Because I worked in a place that would send men home for not shaving I would believe that part of his story. As far as falling asleep in the car for four hours. I would not be likely to buy that one unless you know that he was up all night the night before and had a very long drive home. I think he is giving you a half truth at best.

No. For the simple reason that there is too little information in what is supposed to be the explanation.

I recommend calling the office and finding out did he even show up that day.

after getting a response there, take the appropriate action. either confront if he's lying or find out more details on it if he was honest. I.E. It was due to him drinking too much the night before. Solution: drink less during work week or save it for the days off.

No, not for a minute. He is a really bad liar and I would be insulted if I were you since he thinks your stupid enough to believe that!

Even if you call his boss, there may be more to the story. Did he leave as soon as he got to work and go do something else for 4 hours??? And don't let him get by with telling you he was doing Christmas shopping for you or any of that garbage either.

Not that he fell asleep..... maybe he was out X-mas shopping and doesn't want to tell you. But then maybe the boss wasn't there first thing in the morning and showed up later and then sent him home. Mine sometimes doesn't come in to the office until after noon- he goes to job sites alot. Just tell him that doesn't make sense and ask him if he is hiding something? Communication works - if you have it to begin with.

Sounds very suspicious to me - he got sent home because he wasn't shaved?!?! Bosses don't care about stuff like that - once you get into the office, they don't EVER send you home unless the building is on fire - and even then, I work for a company that would keep right on working. Sounds like he got lazy and called into work on a pretend sick day.

I suspect that there are some missing pieces to his story. You know this guy, where I can only picture his character. What I can say...if it were me, falling asleep in the car after that, then showing up 4 hours later to miss a day of work, would simply not happen. I believe that something isn't quite right.

Without any other explanation? Well, probably not. Sounds kinda weird to me. Unless you have a reason to believe that he might actually have fallen asleep in the car.
Something else is going on with that. Maybe he got fired and is afraid to tell you? He might have a problem that he is embarrased or ashamed to tell you about. Don't let this go. Something is up.

has he ever done anything to make u disbelieve him. then it probably was the truth. maybe he was a little upset with what had happened and wanted to clear his head before he came home, so maybe he did not take it out on u, did that thought ever enter ur mind. of course not, the first thing u thought like most women is that he is lying. but if u had come home and told a similar story, u would heve expected him to believe it. so give him the benefit of the doubt

Smells like a rat. I wouldnt buy that unfortunately. Give him one more chance to come clean. You can always call his boss if he doesnt tell you the truth.

Learn how to trust each other. Let him feel safe to share with you his feeling and deeds. Do not act like detective, otherwise not only your husband will tell you more lies, even outside man also dare not disclose to you the truth of their deeds.

Learn to be gracious and loving. True love cast out all fear. I don't need to make up story when my wife is so loving and gracious. I have confidence to share with her even if I do some wrong things. But if she is act like detective, then we will have problem having right relationship with one another... mail me if need further help.
