Tonight is the last episode of Heroes until the new season starts in 07. Does anyone know what month and day the new season is due to air?

Rf186..You might be right, Im not sure. I just know that my t.v has been saying that tonight will be the last episode until the new year so I naturally assumed that the season was over. Thanks for your answer!

The next episode ("Godsend" the twelfth episode of the first season) will air January 22, 2007 (at least as of now–as always, schedules can change at any time). And NBC has ordered a total of 22 episodes for the season, so once Heroes returns in January, there will be 11 more new episodes left in the season.

Tonight is not the last episode for this (the 1st) season, there are 3 more episodes that have yet to air. But you are correct in that the episode tonight is the last episode for a couple of weeks. NBC has not announced if Heroes will be a part of next falls line-up (although with it's ratings, it pretty much is guaranteed).
Episodes still left to air:
"Godsend" will air Jan. 15
"The Fix" will air Jan. 22
The season finale which doesn't have a name yet will air on Jan. 29

Episode 11 is the terrific part of volume 2: Generations, and they lately reshot it so it's going to be the season-ender if choose be. even if it comes decrease back or no longer relies upon upon the strike, yet many are saying that the season this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days will bring about December, and maximum exhibits will purely have round 12 episodes or so. This is only the last show until after the holidays. It will start back up on the 15th allowing then to show holiday shows and a rerun or two in the meanwhile. the show is not over for the season. And JFYI, they nevr said that a hero is killed. they only said that a hero is lost. A little thought for tonight's show.

Most shows usually start up again at the beginning of February for sweeps. I would think Heroes would probably do the same.
