Let B stand for brown-eyed
and b stand for blue-eyed

the parents both have Bb as their genotype.

you can solve this by using a punnett square. the result will be:

BB-homozygous brown-eyed
Bb-heterozygous brown-eyed
Bb-heterozygous brown-eyed
bb-homozygous blue-eyed

so bb is the blue-eyed child this resulted from the Bb or homozygous brown-eyed parents

1) Let "B" the dominant gen for brown color of eyes and "u" the recessive gen for blue color of eyes.

2) In order that these couple of brown-eyed people have a blue-eyed child the genotype should be:

Woman: Bu
Man: Bu

So, Bu x Bu = BB, Bu, Bu, uu

The last one is the genotype corresponding to blue-eyed child.

Hope it helps!

Good luck!
