Help!!!!!!!!!!!!! Does anyone know how to get a large "slime" stain(you know the stuff that kids like to play with) off a woollen sofa? I've scraped the disgusting stuff off and it's left a dark stain on said sofa. AAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHHHHHH! Please help.

First of all, let it dry out fully.

Now mix one part of washing-up liquid to two parts of water in a bowl and splash it about with your fingers so you've got lots of foam. Pick up some of the foam (not the liquid!!!) on a dry cloth and rub it into the stain. Keep doing this until you can't see the stain for white foam. Now leave it again until it's fully dry and vaccuum the area. You may need to do this more than once.

The drawback with this approach is that it leaves a clean patch and you may have to do the whole sofa!

you could try a hand held steamer mine takes off all kinds of stuff also go to the store and get some stuff called goo gone that works too but test it on the fabric b4 you use it on the stain just incase it fades the color of the sofa. good luck

Take a little hydrogen peroxide, a little Dawn or Palmolive dish soap and a little water (all equal ammounts) and mix together. Rub mixture into stain with an old toothbrush or scrub brush until stain disappears. Wipe off with warm, clean wet rag, towell. It worked for motor oil, hopefully will work for you.

Do you have kids or were these visitors ?
If they are your kids and you bought a woolen sofa,
then it is totally your fault for dumb purchase choice.
If they were visitors and did this while you were not present then their parents should cover the costs.
Being cross is a waste of time and it is just a couch.

You could try spraying with car upholstery cleaner as this is made specially for fabrics
You might also spray on some mr muscle and rub it gently in a circular motion
