Age means absolutely nothing in friendship. I have the best of friends who are like 35...and i'm 14. I also have amazing friends that are in their early twenties. They have more experience, and I love them to death!!!

If you're talking about someone a lot younger than you...well just keep their age in mind. They can be loving and supportive, but don't talk about anything that's beyond their age/experience/what they can handle.

In my opinion age is a far factor but that doesnt mean to ignore it, good friend means someone stands by your side when you're ineed ,warm you when u feel cold, how to put a smile when u feel so sad, always in mind, encourage you to reach your gaols, best of all is care .
Also common way of thinking is important which make things goes more easly deep in your friendship.Money or beauty never lasts what lasts is the good soul and treatment .

For a real friend, I don't think age is a factor. However, it is often easier to find common ground with people who share your cultural experiences. For many people, that means growing up watching the same television, listening to the same music, etc.

Age is not a fact. Friendship is not depending upon age, beauty and other useless thinkings. Its only depending upon everyones heart feelings. So give a adjustment with good acitivities definatley u will have and get a lot of friends

I would say yes, usually a person close to your age or older is good to have. Younger ones may be inexperienced, and do things that may be unacceptable. But then again, how will they ever learn? Well, I know don't have many friends that are younger than me.

As long as two people can build a 'ship' together you can have a “Friendship” Mind you it is tough work, it takes blood, sweat and tears and a couple of years to build a true friendship. If a person is old enough to hang in there then s/he is old enough to be a friend.

Yes there is definitely age factor. The mental age..............If it matches then physical age doesn't mean anything.

For example, if you can become a kid with a kid (even if you are old), you can be friends.

No, it is not, once you can find companionship and friendship in someone then you can be friends. I think that wisdom is not only limited to elders, there are some young people who you can relate to on a level that you couldn't with others.
