It depends on you! Some people want their kids close and there is NOTHING wrong with that. I know plenty of healthy and loving kids who have siblings close to them (some are less than a year!) and it's actually shown to give stronger bonds to siblings. I waited 9 months until I got pregnant again (after a c-section) and my doctor said it was fine and I am nearly 17 weeks and both baby and I are prefectly healthy! My daughter loves the idea of a baby in mommy's belly! Good Luck and make a decision based on your feelings (and your partner's) not these quacks on here!

I know that you can get pregnant as early as 2 months if your breastfeeding. Actually, breastfeeding takes it into a whole new perspective: If you're nursing, you should wait until you wean your son or daughter. That way nothing happens to deplete your milk supply. Its good to wait at least 6 months I'd say before trying. You want your body to get a rest and be able to ready yourself for another birth. I myself won't be having another baby for a while!!!

I would think if God allowed you to make a baby then it's okay. I suppose you should wait until it's right for you and your family. I'm 26 weeks pregnant and my daughter is almost 39 weeks. I'm doing just fine. He's healthy and I'm having a normal pregnancy.

At least a year or two. U should give the first baby time to grow and experience being the baby.

when my first was 2 months old I got baby fever again, but because of a miscarriage I didn't have another one until my first was 2 1/2 years old. I did want them closer together but now that I have this spacing I think its perfect. I think it all depends on what you want and can handle

A year. Your body needs time to heal and the first child deserves a chance to be a baby before the next kid comes along.

We had our first 3 very close together. I have 7,6,5 and 2 year old children. When my first was 6 mos. old I became pregnant with my second. When my second was 6 mos old, I became pregnant with my 3rd. Then we "surprised" ourselves with the 4th. Some will say that is too close together, but I have to say that my body handled it very well. Not to mention how emotionally close and bonded the kids are. You should do whatever is right for you and your family.

most docs say that your body needs time to recover having a baby, nursing, late nights and all that extra work take alot out of u, my doc said 2 yrs was best, also if u r nursing it could be very draining on your body to make milk and support the fetus

Some Dr's say 3 months....some say 6 and some say a year. I would wait at least 3 months and then let nature happen or not happen.

at least two year so your body has the time to recovery and yourself have the time to share with your new born. Just give your baby the time to enjoy being a baby.
