Glad you asked! i had mine done 8yrs ago and I am now considering another child. I spoke to my doctor and was told a reversal could be done but its more involved b/c they have to cut the tubes, take out some, and "reconnect" the tubes. I was also told that injections may be the cheaper route. You could probably do artificial insemination instead of IVF, especially if you are fertile...not sure if there is really a difference between the two. IVF can cost anywhere from $10k and up! I freaked on that finding...lol
In the Dallas area, a reversal runs about $6500, but that's a simple one where the tubes were only tied or cut off by a ring. So ones that have been burned (like mine) as well may be more involved and cost more.

My mother acquired pregnant after she had her tubes tied, but that was once back in 1988. She had just had my brother and received her tubes tied. It had best been like a month. She got pregnant, it used to be a tubal pregnancy and she miscarried. I think in the past two decades that steps have been made to make sure that this does not occur anymore, it's probably not that you're pregnant, but if you're go to the healthcare professional ASAP. A tubal pregnancy is no just right.

I was going to get my tubes put back together. I got my tubes tied and burnt at 21, and with 2 kids, I was young and regreted gettting them done.. The surgery is very expensive. Most insurance does not cover the costs. There are also very high risks of tubal pregnancy and misscarriage.

yes the dr will extend your tubes were they are goined together again costy if you want another child other than that there is no way for you to get pregnant once they are burnt because they burn off the ends if you had then tied after 5-7 years there is a posssibility they can come loose gl
