Loosing the remote.

Being diagnosed with cancer and going through the horrors of chemo, knowing the cancer will probably kill you anyway.
Having a stroke and being unable to communicate, so people treat you like you can't think anymore, but really you can see and hear and have things to say but can't say them.
Having emphysema and not being able to walk across the room without getting out of breath.
Being blind and/or deaf.
Seeing a person you love in a lot of pain and not being able to help.
Being in constant pain yourself.
Paralysis of any kind.
Incontinence.
Being a mean, unfeeling person that nobody likes.
Lots and lots of other things.
Sex is not all THAT important in the grand scheme of things. Many people are, after all, celibate by choice.

I spent the first 12 years of my life with no sex. I didn't become happier after puberty. Many things are worse than being impotent.

Being dismembered, being run over by a truck, being given 1000 paper cuts and having lemon juice poured on the wounds for the rest of your life. I can think of alot of things actually.

Worst case scenario you would be paralyzed and not be able to move at all. Having some one have to brush your teeth, clean you. Or better yet having Artrithis in your body that whenever you move your in severe pain.

Thank the lord that your alive, and that you don't have something that prevents you from enjoying everyday life. That you get to wake every morning and enjoy time with your family, and friends. You may have this situation to live with, but god uses every difficult situation in our lives for good in the future.

having AIDS or cancer would be worse, or a facial disfigurement. impotency can be treated, with drugs or counseling. the others cant

well, never walking, not having your arms, not being able to urinate through the organ but rather urinate through a tube that sends it to a bag you have to carry with you...
