Actually, yes. My husband created a grid (out of white strands) for the ceiling of our basement game room that is quite bright, and a lot cheaper and easier than installing recessed lighting.

No, but I don't exactly go out of my way to take them down in the Spring... why bother? I'm just going to have to put them back up in about 5 months anyway. Save time. And... no... I don't live in a trailer park... I live in a house... in Canada... too damn cold to get out and do that until about June, and then it's too damn hot...
