I met Elvis Presley in March 1960 when I was 8 years old. My father was the Head Recruiter at Ft Knox and he wrote to Elvis's
Company Commander in Germany as a joke saying they want him to stop in Ft Knox for a re-enlistment talk. He thought it was funny so he came in uniform and when I shook his hand he said,
"Are you sure you know who I am, kid?" So I started singing You
Ain't Nothin' But a Hound Dog...and he laughed and rustled my hair and said, "Yeah, boy, I guess you do."

I met Rob Thomas and the guys from Matchbox-20 about 8 years ago. They were touring their first album at small venues. They were staying at the Travelodge where my friend worked the front desk. My friend called me and said, "You got to meet these guys, they're great!" So, I went to the hotel and hung out with them in the lobby. We sat around talking while eating snacks from the vending machine. They were so mellow. They gave my friend and I tickets to the show. We went to see them and had a fun time. About 4 months after that, we heard their songs all over the radio.

I've met allot. I live in Franklin, Tennessee, and my dad owns a few bars. Most of the celebrities that I meet are football players or country music stars. The country music stars usually act nice. It varies for the football players. By the way, those bars are located in Nashville. I have to go with my dad sometimes to help him with paperwork and such.

Well, the celebrity was Sylvester Stone (of Sly and the Family Stone), and he was - well, Stoned, so it wasn't really much of a conversation. He just kept saying that he had to make this song good (he was with George Clinton of Parliament/Funkadelic at the time) or God was going to get him.

My daughter has met Kyle Massey and Ashley Tisdale at a Legoland/Girl Scout event. She said that both were very nice and Kyle Massey complimented her on her name.
I graduated with Dave Roberts, who just signed a three-year contract with the San Francisco Giants. He is a genuinely nice guy and from what I have heard he hasn't changed.

Yeah I've met Miley Cyrus from Hannah Montana. She was so cool and down to earth. If anybody meets her she's really awesome. I felt like she was a friend of mine for a long time.

Sammy Davis Jr. was extremely humble, friendly and personal.
I have met many retired baseball players. Most are very fun to talk with and they are quite comical.
