My husband and I made reservation months ago for a ski resort only to find as the date approaches, they haven't had any snow for this season yet. What are some fun ideas to do in the hotel?

Well, we are going to be there for 3 days, we can only make love so many times. I need other fun ideas.

Hotel fun can be expensive but if you don't want to visit the town in which the ski resort is located then by all means enjoy the facilities of the hotel.
The hotel may have a pool which in ski resorts is often heated for winter use or it may be an indoor pool.
Another option might be to bring a computer along for answering Yahoo Answers. Hopefully the hotel has access to the internet for no charge. You can then become the review master of hotels in the area and also of the restaurants and other attractions (that is, if you leave the hotel)
Why not work out in the fitness center? Take off a few pounds or tone up!
Learn all the staff's names and smile everytime you see them... this will guarantee excellent service and actually make the stay in the hotel more enjoyable.
Strike up conversations with complete strangers.... this will be the most exciting, memorable and fun part of your trip as no ski trip can match the stories that result from.... "You remember that time I spoke to that stranger in the lobby?" ;-)

Swim, sit in the hot tub, watch movies, go shopping and see the town. Eat at the little restaurants where the locals go. Ask the desk where the best place to walk/hike is, and take plenty of pictures while getting fresh air. Just get to know the town so you have plenty of good memories instead of the inside of a room.
The front desk also has a ton of brochures about other things to do!
