The new rankings come out today. I think UCLA will still be number 1 for the time being. Pitt is a very scary team. They have one of the best Centers in the nation in Aaron Gray, and most of their other guys are still relatively young. Ronald Ramon is streaky but can be deadly from 3 point land, Levon Kendall gives them another strong inside presence, Levance Fields and Antonio Graves have been playing well, and the scary part is that all of them except Gray could be back for 07-08! I don't think that Pitt will climb up to #1 this week, but they have some tough matchups coming up against Wisconsin, Oklahoma St., then of course when conference play starts, the Big East is ridiculously strong this year. So as long as the Panthers keep winning, they should eclipse UCLA at some point. Will be tough though.
