Why is this other than a tide of extremely masculine testatorone overdosed men who think men should do the fighting and women at home? There are many very capable women who could fight in the front lines just fine, who would approve a discriminatory policy like this?

In the services in general, I agree...however, front line combat has a bit more to it than ducking and shooting...oftentimes, a soldier will have to go a week or more without a shower...many times there is no toilet paper. There are other things to take account of.

There is more to fighting in the front lines than just pulling a trigger. If a buddy gets hurt you may need to lift him or her on your shoulder and run. There are almost no women who could effectively do this type of activity. Basically though I think the discrimination arises from the perception of taking mothers from their children would be unacceptable. No one really cares if the fathers are lost.

As a female Navy veteran I applaud your question. I sincerely believe that women should be included in the draft as well. Would do this country a service to draft females. I believe we females have proven ourselves in the services. It would probably be the right wing conservative Christians that would stop it from becoming law.

It is not about testatorone, whatever that is, it's about physical and mental stress to the extreme. Which women, sad to say, cannot handle or cope with. Some may, but in general most can't. Unlike men, most can handle it, and a few can't.
