I want to visit the UK some day. It seems like fun. I don't really have anything against it. I heard some ppl from the UK think that Americans think of them as ppl who desperately need braces, but I don't think that.

What I heard is that ppl from the West side don't really like Americans so I would be nervous when I go to the UK. Before going I would check up on their laws and stuff. I heard that when ppl from the USA break laws over seas they say, "You can't do this! I'm an American." I think that's wrong. You broke the law, you pay the price, no matter where U are! That's why I want to read up on the basic laws so I don't break NE of them.

Mediocre food. Good beer. Great rock bands. Iron Maiden, Sabbath, Stones, just to name a few.

Never understood the facination with the royal family though.

I perceive them as a bit 'stiff' but figured that came from living in a cold, foggy place.
Lots of Euros go to Thailand during the winter but I didn't encounter many from the UK . . .
maybe they are ' too stiff ' ? (literally & figuratively)

I think they are way to strict on things like graphic content in movies, mags, books, ect.
I also think their laws against BDSM are ridiculous.

Is marijuana legal there? I read a british mag that advertises a lot of marijuana and marijuana parapenalia. and there was alos adds for PEP pills which aren't legal here. so it seems theres lax drug policy which I like.
