As Allyson explains it "It is not possible for a person to sexually harass their boss." Besides she was not working for him at the time the deal was made.

And now for the explanation. In season one, a rich pharmaceutical company headed up by a man named Vogler donated 100,000,000.00 dollars to the hospital naming Vogler the head of the hospital board in the process. Vogler found an immediate distaste for House and his team that only treat the rare cases and that seem to answer to nobody. Vogler trying to teach House a lesson told him to fire somebody. House could not choose. Vogler gave him an alternative solution. House had to make a speech endorsing a new heart medicine to some drug representatives. House started to and then decided in mid speech to talk about how Vogler was making people spend more money for the same drug that does little more for the patients but allows Vogler to charge more money for the drug under a new patent. Cameron knowing that this meant one of the staff had to go quit, knowing that she wanted to have sex with House and couldn't. House accepted her resignation but Vogler wanted House's as well. House has tenure so Vogler set out to fire him. Instead, the board decided to give Vogler back his money and let him go. House was saved but he needed to get Allyson back. She refused given the fact she still wants him. He came back and told her he had to have he back and he was willing to pay extra for her. She said she wanted a date. He grudgingly agreed.
They went back to work. that is where she explained that you can not sexually harass your boss, especially when they were not your boss at the time. They went out on the date and it became apparent to her that House believed that she was only after his limp, that she was into damaged people. Nothing says that they did not have sex but then again nothing says that they did. They went back to work and kept the experience pretty much between them. The assumption is, however, that they did not have sex. And that is the whole story.

It basically revolved around the whole "I'll come back to work with you in exchange for a date".

But I say to whoever actually wrote that article "What a poor sad git you are!!"

Oh honey, she was all over him like a cheap suit. They even went out once. But he wasn't into her like she was him, and it got to be a real issue. Later, when they brought Sela Ward on for awhile, she tells House, "I always thought you were unable to love, but you can love. Just not me."
