I personally feel that it should be prevented. Parents should sit down and talk with their kids on the dangers of early pregnancy and the responsibilites it entails.

it would be ok if they had men there to help them out. People used to have kids at a young age all the time. But they would get married and start working. Problem is that these days, the girls are on their own.

Well I am 19 and have a one month old child. I am married to a military man so we have a steady pay, we can provide for our child. So I don't think it has anything to do with at what age someone gets pregnant but at what maturity level the girl is at.

I think their parents are partly to blame. I believe that these young women are ignorant and lack self respect. How are they going to raise a child at that age and still continue their education? Why would you want to raise a child on clothing and other items that will cause humiliation? I mean how hard is it to make the guy wear a condom or be on some type of birth control.

It really depends on the age. I think I am pregnant at a young age, I am 20, but I have a steady paycheck (Army soldier), married and enough money to handle what I am getting myself into.

its terrible. if they have children at a young age, the guy may nnot want her anymore and leave. sometiems its an accident. but what happens in alot of situations are that when those girls get older, REAL guys dont want to date them because they think the girl is a s.l.u.t. or isnt responsible enough. it gives her a bad impression. but some girls are tough and can work it out. like on gilmore girls. but hope nobody gets there hopes up for that situation.

it is unfortunate that girls are having babies at such a young age. I'm opposed to it because they aren't getting the most out of their lives pre children. there are so many lessons they need to learn such as, what man is right for them, what the world looks like, parenting skills, common sense, and so forth.

i think it is wrong. they have to be able to support a little child! Go the collage. It will change your life. Don`t you want to be younge for as long as possible?! I mean having a child will cut it short. You have to be 100% ready because if your not then you r SCRUDE

I don't think it's right, but I think it would be really cool if the mother of the baby keeps it and still stays in school. I have a school by my house that is called Merlo Station and they have mothers who are pregant that still want to be a mother and keep their baby. So they go to school and their baby is in childcare, Sometimes it's not your fault that you got pregant. just do the right thing
