There are a few uneducated people on here. There are rarely, rarely, rarely, rarely false positives. There have been maybe 4 cases in the past 5 years of false positives, which were caused by some type of cancer that was producing the HCG hormone.

False negatives are fairly common, though.

I believe you... It doesn't take intercourse to become pregnant, all it takes is sperm on your inner labia. They are tough things that can make their way from the outside to inside and find their way to an egg. It has happened before.

Anyone that says that you can't get pregnant without direct intercourse is obviously not worth listening to.

Hate to sound rude, but all the people on here that give out false information all the time just irk me :D

If you've ever used a tampon, or have had any brute force to your vulva (say, from falling off of a bike and landing on the bar), your hymen may have been torn already, so there may or may not be a way to tell if you are still a virgin.

If you are pregnant then you are in no way a virgin anymore. Go and get a real pregnancy test from a Doctor to make sure that you are really pregnant, you may of just had a false positive on the test you took.

I think it's very sacreligious of you to say you're the next Virgin Mary. You cannot be pregnant without having sex. That only happened for Mary and Joseph. Pregnancy tests can show false positives for many reasons. Do a little research.

For the people who said it's not possible to get pregnant without sex...wrong!!! If seman enters the vagina you can get pregnant without sex! Those little suckers can swim fast!! And by saying this is a lie, that's judging, which is also a sin!!!!

Make a doc appt...

As far as the details, you can get a blood test from your doctor and they can also certify that you are a virgin. (what do you think they do when girls have been raped?) The test will be able to tell if tissue has been torn.

Pregnancy tests can provide false negatives, especially if you are taking anything that contains hormones. Get a blood test from your doctor.

it says right there in the test instruction booklet that the percentage of a postive result being false is greater than the percentage of a negative result being false..
You could have any number of reasons why it because positive, something as simple as not cleaning down there and getting a "clean catch" urine sample as the doctors put it...

Even in the days of Mary it was impossible to prove...oh wait so was every other "miracle" in the bible guess we just have to have a little faith...that's the christian answer to everything.

You need a blood test from a doctor. It's fool proof. Pregnancy tests can be wrong.
