I wouldn't be worried about being pregnant because of the bleeding, but I would worry about not taking the pill at the same time every day or missing a day or so. It is likely that you are spotting mid-month because you have not been taking the pill at the same time every single day.
It is only by taking the pill regularly and consistently is it effective. Even being off by several hours can lessen its effectiveness.

its nothing to worry about - this is called a break through period which occurs when you use the pill

If you missed a pill or took it at a different time it could be breakthrough bleeding.

It is very unusual - did you miss any? that would cause a period. if you did not miss any ring NHS Direct (if you're in UK) and they will be able to advise you.
