Looked like the second coming of Jake Plummer last night.

Actually, for a rookie, he could have been much worse. I wouldn't want to have my debut this late in the season on prime time television. I can't be certain, but think his debut was better than Elway's.

Realistically, Cutler will be the guy the rest of the way, and likely next season. Plummer will likely end up somewhere like Chicago next year...or Detroit...or Oakland...or where ever. He was fun to watch, but his time in Orange and Blue is over.

Yes Cutler made some rookie mistakes against the Seahawks. Even a veteran QB will do the same mistakes. There was alot of good plays that Jay Cutler made. Just like that 71 yard TD strike to tie the game up at 20. As he gets more playing time and gets more comfortable in the QB position I think he will be another Elway or close to him. Plummer he is alright but not nearly as great as he should be. Cutler is going to be the main QB in the future now.

Shanahan decision to make Cutler the starter for the rest of the year is a statement that this year is done, playoffs are out and it is time to groom the kid. If that is the case then fine, give him some experience. I thought it was premature considering they were 7-4 and still in the thick of a playoff chance.

Give me a break. It was the kids first NFL game. That was expected. And while I still don't agree with the decision to bench Plummer. You can't judge the poor kid off of one game. IF you knew anything about football you would know that.

What has Plummer ever done really? Get Arizona State to the Rose Bowl. That's about it.....

I think that Cutler showed us why Denver drafted him. He made a few mistakes but even the best QBs do that.
