Yes we are. But if you understand the BCS (or at least follow its logic) you can see why we are not going to get that shot. If it were to be a re-match and Michigan won, would we really deserve the national championship since our only loss of the season can at the hands of the Buckeyes?
An Ohio State vs. Michigan would be a much better game, but the BCS has enough issues with its system already, they could not justify the SHARING of a national title between Ohio State and Michigan.

I can see both arguements. On paper it looks like Michigan is #2 in nation. So the BCS is suppose to put in #1 and #2. On the other hand people just don't want a rematch they want something different.
I think Michigan deserves it but its okay to see Florida make it.

Again, everyone focuses on Michigans loss. We still know that Michigan has the best loss in the country cuz they lost to the #1 team on the road by very little....but now when we talk about quality wins, Florida has them in that categorie. And it was mentioned that Floridas opponets winning pct was highest in the nation. So they are playing a good schedule and winning.

As a Michigan fan I am very upset. We lost by 3 points on their field, we are obviously the number 2 team. I think we can win, but we will win the rose bowl. Next season Michigan will be National Champions.

it's clear that the pollsters DID NOT want a rematch.
but yeah, the michigan fans are probably upset. if there was a rematch, then we'd have florida fans upset. i guess there's no way people can learn to accept the things that are given to them...

Michigan had there chance a few weeks ago and blew it. Why should I have to watch them lose again? This isn't boxing with rematches. This is football. You get one shot, and unfortunately for michigan there shot came during the regular season.

i'm a wolverine fan. im not upset. they didn't beat them when they had the chance. now someone else gets to lose to ohio state. at least a big ten team is gonna win the title again proving that the big ten is the premier conference in the country. suck it florida

Yes they are but, they had their chance to beat Ohio State and did not. Now its Florida's chance.
