I wear colors that don't stand out to much like pastels (preppy) and I wear colors that bring out my eyes!

Research the meaning or psychology of colors. it's a bunch of theories about how people react or why people favor certain colors. It is very helpful in Interior Design. It might work or apply on your paper. For example, purple in ID symbolizes royalty. Maybe a person wears a purple blouse because she wants to feel luxurious or elegant. Pink in prison cells calms the nerves of the inmates so probably girls like to wear pink clothes because they feel it sends a very positive, passive vibe.

you might impress your teacher by starting out with some historic and global facts, such as that in China, red is the color of a wedding dress, and in italy and greece widows tend to wear black. Then go into how we dress in america and the different subcultures like hip-hop being about brights and emo/goth being so dark. Researching this one can be fun!

I like flash-alive colors: Red, I love it, Green, Blue, Purple. I like them to match, like for example if my T-shirt / Sweater has a red line design I like to wear some shoes too match and stuff like that, I like colors to be there, but not be like an explotion that might blind you. I like to stand out and be noticed, greys and blacks I wear them when the weather is cloudy or rainy, and I wear whites only if there's a nice sunshine, and last but not least I don't wear more than 2 colors, like to balance them, but not make combinations that seem like it's too much!

Well I wear colors depending on my skin tone. If it goes well with my skin tone then I'll go with it. But some people dont know how to wear colors.

It's really random and I dress according to my mood.
I can be found wearing my Clarks' mint green ballet flats, a burnt orange bohemian skirt, a grey LuchaWorkshop tee and a black-and-white bag on a "happy, carefree day".
Or you can catch me wearing my black jeans, a black long sleeved tee with a red beret on a "moody Monday".
Generally, people dress according to their moods and/or occasions.
People won't wear a hot pink/fluorescent green/neon yellow combo for a funeral, would they?

I think that people identify with a certain color and feel more confident when they are wearing their "Power Color". My husband's color is green, mine is red. I feel more confident and secure when I wear red.
