I have a small purse I take to work and different purses to match outfits when I go out places and a louis vuitton that stays home because I don't want it to get stolen. I carry only essentials in my purse and nothing valuable since I was robbed. Money and credit cards, keys, cellphone are carried in pockets or on my body. My purse has kleenex, bus money, makeup, hairbrush, etc.

I used to carry my LV everywhere but one night I was robbed at gunpoint and fortunately I had my Payless purse with me. I live in a bad area and purse snatching isn't the problem, it's having a gun pointed at you and since I have to walk to the bus, I don't feel safe carrying it around where I could become a victim again. When I find a nice man to go out with and go to some nice places, I can carry it again, but never walking in my neighborhood.

My friends nicknamed my purse "the suitcase." I carry a lot in my purse...but most of it is unvaluable. Lip gloss, sanitary items in a pouch, etc. I try to keep all money and credit cards on me.

I do not have a Purse. I carry things in my pockets. Some times I have a coat or jacket on and people with purses end up haveing me carry some of their stuff in more of my pockets.
I use to Carry a Purse in Elementary, Middle and High School. The Purse adjusted as what I carried adjusted.
Currently if I cannot wear clothes with Pockets (that are not Jackets or Coats) I carry a string purse and keep things light,.. since I was in a couple accidents my shoulders can't handle Purses and Bra straps without my neck being thrown out of place and threatening my life.

My purses are quite small. My favorite is about the size and shape of a pencil case. Most of them have just enough room for a pack of cigarettes, a small lighter, lip balm (because I'm ADDICTED) and my wallet, which is a lovely cigarette-case style by Kyle Designs (if anyone is interested).
I have several - I pick them up whenever I see cute one shopping resale. And I learned to crochet so I make some of my own too.

Your small purse can carry so many things?!
Well, I am definitely a big-bag girly. I need to have:
* brolly (or as the Americans call it: umbrella)
* travel-pack Kleenex (I'm allergic to almost everything and my nose is like a running tap and I clean utensils/benches/tables
with tissue papers!)
* numerous lip balms
* my wallet (which is full of receipts, cash, coins, photos)
* my sketchpad/journal (for random thoughts and an outlet for me for boring bus rides)
* markers, pens, pencils (see above)
* paper fan (for hot and humid days! Got it from Chinatown; more elegant than those battery-operated fans!)
* a paperback novel (or it might be a Reader's Digest! Or magazines!)
And inside my purchased-in-Thailand haversack are many pouches as I store the above-mentioned items in categories!

The cutest cheap purse that goes with everything, cigarettes, wallet, phone, chap stick. That's whats in there now only because I just cleaned it out. Every month it turns into a carry all trash can.

I carry a medium sized purse, it's black. I carry my wallet, small makeup bag, small brush, cellphone and keys. I think a medium sized is fine because you can fit everything you need to use throught the day. And black matches with everything.

Yes same is the case with me.All the trendy things are not useful and practical.I have 4 good purses but use a small long softleather black purse.

I have a medium sized Tommy Hillfiger black purse that zips up cause i have all kinds of stuff in there that I don't want to fall out. Wallet checkbook calculator noxzema deodorant hair elastics lipgloss chapstick lotion antibacterial hand cleanser pantiliners pads tampons hand wipes pain killers -excedrin keys cellphone bandaids lol lots of stuff all crammed in there!

I carry a medium bright blue job with a shiny finish. I carry my tacky green alligator looking wallet, my camera, cell phone, some tissues since the weather is changing, some softlips, my keys, and a hairtie.
