Talk to your Gyno. I did it twice, first time It was fine, the second time I bleed for the first month, gained weight and then 3 months later started lactating. My doctors pulled me off of it and switched me over to Seasonal. My experience has been much much better with that. I was told by my Dr that Depo is great for women who have already had children.

Yes, It is very safe. But there is a limit now of how long you can stay on it. After a certain time period it is not good for your body and just too risky.ys
