The price depends on the style you want and (usually) the amount of letters.

But you might want to go with an id tag type. The basic cost is usually around $5.99 and up. Engraving is usually included, double side generally costs extra and can range, but is most commonly around $5.00.

Below is a good link to find engraved dog tags:

Honestly I don't think that much. You can go into Walmart and into the jewelry counter and ask one of them. I haven't been there in awhile, but I know they used to have all kinds of necklaces to engrave. Even just numbers, then you could get his name engraved on the other side, or even on the front right on the number.

Otherwise just google engraving necklaces. With what is on the internet, I am sure you'll be able to find something.

I went some where to have my ipod engraved and they wanted 50!!! for like 9 letters ask if it is done by hand or by a computer. I would think that if it is done by hand it would be cheaper but alwas run the risk of having it screwed up.

Depends alot on where you are located as that is a main factor when it comes to the price of anything.

Look in the phone book under "engraving" and call around and see what they charge.

Some jewelers charge by the letter. Check around to find the lowest price.

Try going to Things Remembered, they do stuff like that. I think it's not too expensive if you buy the key chain from them.
