Yep, as stated above... three sides. One person's perspective, the other person's perspective and the reality of the situation. All must be addressed.

Two different perspectives or points of view on the same set of facts. Take a woman who's life is in danger from a pregnancy. Some would view her decision to abort the pregnancy as murder, others as a sound decision.

this song by Joe Walsh came to my head when i read this question. Its called Two Sides to Every Story. I think its a good example.
