I don't really think his character has any kind of disorder. The irony lies in that, even though he always tries to remain calm, people around him keep acting like he's got an anger management issue. That is what I think made this movie so funny. One of my favorites scenes is when Jack Nicholson takes a golf club out of the trunk, changes his mind and uses a baseball bat instead to hammer the Lexus parked behind his car in the parking lot. Jack was making fun of himself. Remember the time he was taken downtown for putting one of his golf clubs through the windshield of the Lexus behind him, whose driver was being a jerk??
Wouldn't that be funny if Jack's sentence was to star in a movie about anger management??

For a lifelike action picture, try East is East. the daddy of the only million/2-Pakistani, one million/2-British kin, performed by making use of Om Puri, has extreme subject concerns controlling his anger, and, remarkably for a quite often comedian action picture, they are not dealt with as a humorous tale or achieved a disservice. for yet another lifelike action picture, additionally try Radio Flyer -- comparable undertaking, yet darker medical care albeit advised in the process the eyes of youngsters. I even have subject watching movies the place subject concerns like that are dealt with as a humorous tale. I even have in no way been abused, yet my mom was a social centers worker, then went to artwork for a new child-abuse hotline whilst i replaced into turning out to be up, and so movies that make mild of that form of outrage count will rapidly turn me away.

He's pretty average, just a bit uptight.
Great movie, though. I love the Jack Nicholson character.

He does have an anger problem. He's just inverting it. If he doesn't handle it, it's going to explode into sudden and deadly violence. That's what's up.
