the only way to know is to try it on and see. It depends on the material and the cut of the dress. Try it on check in the mirror at home.. if you can check in different rooms with changes in the lighting.

yes! that would look good. kind of a nautical look. try adding a red headband. stein mart has one that's red and white or navy and white striped and has a steering boat wheel. so cute.
