This question may be facetious, I'll still answer it. No, you are not enabling an addict if you listen to their radio show. While Rush Limbaugh is an addict, he is not currently using (or so he says). When in recovery, there is no way to enable 'using behavior' because there is no 'usage'. If you don't like Rush Limbaugh, you certainly don't have to 'support' him by listening to his radio show- but I can assure you that you aren't contributing to his illness by being a listener to a radio program. Only people who have interaction with an addict who is currently using could impact the disease process. Enabling behavior would include things like giving money, letting a person railroad you with demands or emotional abuse, giving tons of emotional support when the person shows no willingness to change or providing them with the drug.

Rush Limbaugh is one of the most rational, logical, straightforward political analysts and commentators without equal, save for Bill Reilly and Sean Hannity, all legends and Great American traditionalists in their
own times!

Compared with a failed Radio America a Lilly livered Liberal Loud-mouth Al Franken, and "Jabba The Hut" Michael Moore, these men on FOX enjoy unprecedented ratings ... and the Liberals say it's because we all are just stupid !

Yes, the man is nothing more than an entertainer who cannot live up to his own hype. Anyone who thinks he is a political commentator is a fool. He is just another drug addicted (an addict does not have to be currently taking drugs, it is a day to day avoidance) loudmouth no more credible than Frankin, but at least Frankin tells you up front that he is an entertainer.

You should call it what it is: Entertainment.

Giving the Limbaugh's, Clooney's, Hannity & Colmes and Orielly's any credence closely resembling what or how it should be politically, legally, religiously or socially, puts them in a greater position than what they really are, It gives them the ring of truth in areas that has no absolute truth. They are: Entertainers!

Being a Brit - I use to listen to him all the time and though he was a super patriot. Now, I feel he is just a self serving host with very conservative opinions. I don't mind someone having either very conservative or liberal views, but I believe is is "preaching to the choir". The local radio station dropped him, another one picked him and and then dropped him.

He's a miserable blob who can't satisfy a woman, even with all the Viagra he gobbles like jelly beans. His last wife, Marta, started out as a devout dittohead and wound up not being able to stand his phony act.

Rush Limbaugh will be an addict whether anyone
listens to him or not. Personally I wish he would
just disappear all together. He is such a blow-hard.

I would have no problem with him being in addict if he wasn't such a hypocrite talking about drug addicts should turn themselves in to prisons. By Rush's own words he should be in jail.

Not necessarily, but it does contribute to the "dumbing down" of America.
