I've had the exact same problem *^^* ...
And practically I kept asking myself:

He kept bugging a lot!!!
And then when school was almost over in that year, for the last three months the teacher made me sit next to that guy!!!
I felt weird, shy, pissed!!! Every possible emotion that could ever flow throughout my body ...
The next day, he just exagerated and i couldnt control myself that i just shouted!!! Right at his face!!! He got sad ...
Man, for the rest of the week he didnt talk nor bug nor touch me and i felt really wierd and felt bad ...
So then one my best friend came up to me and told me that he had a crush on me, and me screaming at him sort of hurt him ...
sO after when we were back in school i ran up to him and told him i was sorry ...
So now, we're friends ...
All this just to tell you that he likes you ... And since he has no other way, he tries to catch your attention by ruining your beautiful day *^^*

Oh there are so many ways you handle that! Firstly, if you have a friend sitting near you, start talking to her once your classmate starts annoying you again. Talk loudly about people who don't shut up or are very annoying. Whenever he starts talking to you again, start humming a song or something to let him know you're not listening. If not, you can just resort to ignoring him or childish pranks. Pick one.

The kid is just like me.
I disturb my English teacher a lot,I do not know why,But I think it is because I her way of teaching is boring and to lift that boredom I give smart comments to make everyone laugh.
You should try teaching in a humorous manner.

I had a boy who sat behind me, kept kicking my chair and pulling my hair and stuff. So, one day he would not quit, so I turned around and said very loudly, "STOP IT". It was loud and the whole class looked at him and he was embarrased and did not bug me again. The teacher gave me a look but I did not get in trouble

Move seats, if he still bugs you, then tell him very nicely to leave you alone. Or simply ignore him/her and the pain will disappear. This worked best for me when I was at school.

i have the same problem. i even asked the teacher if i could move and he said at the end of the semester. so i just ignore her or i yell at her and tell her shes annoying. i know its mean but the person is so annoying and talks **** to me so i talk **** back.

save up your allowance or borrow some money from your mom or whomever and hire some thug to give him or her a damn good butt kicking. better yet, get someone to set it up for you and let them work out the details. that is what i always did. they will figure it out and back off.
