I need help!!! I recently had a fight with my husband and I left him for 5 days. Since then I have been going through alot of problems with him and we might get divorced over me leaving because he does not beleive me that I did not have an affair on him. I do not want to loose my marriage with him. I am so lost because he won't beleive me. I know that I have watched your show and that you sometimes give Lie detector tests to show your spouse or other people wether or not you or they are telling the turth. I feel that this is my only option in saving my marriage. I despritly want to do this so that he will finally beleive me. I would do just about anything to save my marriage. We have three girls together and they do not want to loose there homelife due to a divorce again. I am begging you to please get ahold of me and let me know wether you would be able to do this test to save my marriage for me. I don'y know what else to do at this point. Can you please help me in proving my problem

Please help me we are fighting all the time over this and I am in so much fear of loosing my marriage. He claims if this issue is not handled by new years that he is going to file for a divorce. He won't beleive me at all that I did not have an affair. and that i was not with anyone but my brother. Please help me save my marriage. I am so depressed over this I even went to see a pchytrist. He even had me enroll into drug and alcohole abuse classes thinking that I am on drugs to beable to stay away for 5 days an not contact him. I only left for those days because I couldn't take agruing with him and needed a break. Please help I truely want to save my marriage and know this is the only way to prove I didn't have an affair an wasn't with anyone. Please help me show him I was faithful and that I do love him. without your help I am going to lose the man I love and my children are going to have to be moved around once again and i am tring to give them a stable life with there dad and me.

Yes i was married to him before and we got divorced because I left him due to abuse. He doesn't abuse me anymore in that manner. Yes i have lied to him about stupid things in the past, and my family and his oldest daughter to a previuos relationship got ahold of me on the phone every time she called me I just didn't answer the phone when he called because I got to be so tired of the agruing that I jus needed a break from it. We have been together again now for almost 5 yrs and this is the first time i left him. But i do not want to lose my marriage over him believing something that is not true. I could see if it was then he would have every right. But he is willing to end something on his own beleif that is not true. And if i only have to get a lie detector test to prove my innocense and get back on trak it is well worth it.

You should find a good marriage counselor. If the only way your spouse believes you is thru a lie detector test (which can be wrong), there is no trust in your marriage. It sounds as though there are other problems in the marriage so the two of you need to work on these issues with a reputable counselor.

If you have 3 kids, did you leave them for three days, too? If you did, that's tragic for them.

Married couples fight sometimes. The strength of a marriage is based on how you resolve problems.

Hey first thing is take a deep breath it will be okay. Second thing is why doesn't he believe you? Have you given him a reason..did you cheat in the past? Or is he very jealous and controlling? This sounds like an unhealthy relationship. Its better you just let him move on. Its more important that you and your kids are emotionally healthy than to have a home to live in. Material things come and go. One day you could have a house on your own.

There is a chance he is bluffing, and just wants you to suffer like I am sure he did when you took off. It won't matter if you pass a lie detector test if he indeed doesn't want to believe you. I think you gave him some abandonment issues by skipping out for 5 days. If you can do that, and affair isn't a far stretch to imagine.

If he does not believe you at all the marriage is not worth saving. Obviously there has been some mistrust in the past for him or you to not believe anything you say or he is just an insecure, jealous person and untrust worthy at that. Go to Dr. Phil show if thats what you want in able to get your marriage saved. He is the greatest, I think. Good luck

The Maury show also does stuff like that. No talk show host is going to find your letter on this forum, you need to mail it to them.
Another thing you could try is saying where you were at during those 5 days. If you went to your mom's, she can alibi for you.

hey r u crazy what happen to trust its the best part in a married and if you dont have trust you have nothing there the Church see if you can set up a meeting some time a good married couseling will help its work both way its will help to find why you walk out in the first place and why he dont trust you then they will asked you both do you want to keep the mairried together slow down its will be ok

I'm 21 so yes I remember her show -- and at the time I really liked it when it was first running. In its later years it was sad, the show just became a complete joke. Never in the audience though.
