Stitches curl, yarn is curled, crocheting is curling it more.
Loosening might help, yarn quality can make a difference sometimes, blocking which is dampening and laying out flat
and securing, or steaming. But it's not really anything you are doing wrong ... keep crocheting

When you come to the end of the row, are you chaining the proper amount for the first stitch in the next row? Are you skipping the proper amount of stitches in the next row?Double check the areas I've suggested and correct your stitching on your turning chain. This should help. Try loosening your stitches a little at the end of the row.

I've found that this happens sometimes when I am crocheting too tightly. Go up a hook size or two and see if that helps the problem.
